Les Pétroleuses

 (aka Petroleum Girls, 1971)

by Tuna

Petroleum Girls is a French spoof of American Westerns, starring Brigitte Bardot as the leader of a girl gang, and Claudia Cardinale as a ranch owner with a gang of brothers. Bardot and her crew rob a train, and obtain an oil map in the process, so they decide to buy a ranch with oil. Cardinale also wants the ranch, which is next to hers. The girls in the gang and Cardinale's brothers are impressed with each other.

It's not an exceptionally good movie, but Bardot shows her buns while bathing, Bardot and Cardinale show lots of cleavage, and the two of them engage in the mother of all cat fights. Throw the always hilarious Michael J. Pollard into the mix as the sheriff, it's a fast watch, and a must-own for fans of the two female stars.
