Uncle Scoopy's Top 20 Nude Scenes of 2020

Overview:

For the 22nd consecutive year, the readers of Uncle Scoopy's Fun House and related sites have chosen their favorite nude scenes.

It was no contest this year. there was a definite number one and a definite top five, given that there were massive gaps in the vote count between #1 and #2, followed by a virtual four-way tie among the performances finishing second through fifth, followed by another massive drop off between numbers five and six.

The voting took place in stages.

In stage one, nominations were accepted from all readers of Other Crap for a full month.

In stage two, all voters were allowed to rank all nominees from top to bottom, and a seeded list of finalists was created from the results.

In stage three, voters were asked to name one and only one of the choices as their selection for the top nude performance of the year. The numerical results of the balloting, as well as links to sample images from each of the finalists, can be found here.

If you’re curious, I voted for an actress named Laure Calamy in stage two, for her absolutely charming nude scene in Call My Agent. She did not make the final round, so I voted for Matilda De Angelis in stage three, although I was really torn between her and Ida Engvoll. Each of those scenes finished in the top ten, but neither was able to come close to the popularity of the quite explicit lesbian scene between Saoirse Ronan and Kate Winslet in Ammonite. De Angelis did get the honorary secondary award as the highest vote getter from a series.

The interesting development of the year was the re-emergence of feature films and shorts as worthwhile sources of top nude scenes. In recent years the top spots had been dominated by TV shows from the cable and streaming services, but 2020 proved as stubbornly different in our poll as in real life. Only four of the top ten came from a series, including neither of the top two!
